The origin of InspectCheck dates back to 1999 when Dave developed a paper-based reporting system for inspectors at Turnkey Home Inspection Systems. The objective was to create a reporting system to standardize the data collection process and ensure that reports were accurate and complete. The paper-based system generated considerable interest from other inspectors, which led to the release of InspectCheck in 2013.
In the years after the software was first released, extensive time and effort was devoted to research and development regarding the design of the InspectCheck interface and the language used in the proprietary system descriptions, Explanation of ConditionsTM and contract. The language and terminology, in particular, were developed over the last 10 years based on extensive input from experienced home inspectors, industry experts, and language specialists to ensure that they are well written, complete, and meet or exceed all industry and state standards.
Today, InspectCheck is an all-in-one business platform used by home inspectors across the country to complete thousands of residential home inspections each year. We continually work to update and improve our product offerings to meet the latest needs of home inspectors.
